KMITL Language Center (KLC)
Leading Education for Global Competitiveness
KMITL Language Center, a department within the School of Liberal Arts at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), is dedicated to developing graduates and professionals who can contribute to national progress and excel in the global arena. The center also promotes lifelong language learning opportunities for students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Established in 1977 as the Language Resource Center (LRC) within the Department of Languages and Social Sciences, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, the center initially focused on supporting language learning. In 2016, following the accreditation of the School of Liberal Arts as a faculty, the center was restructured and renamed Center of Innovation for Lifelong Learning (CILL) to align with global sustainable development goals and evolving institutional policies.
In 2021, in response to the growing emphasis on innovative and disruptive curricula, the center was rebranded as KMITL Language Center to better reflect its role in enhancing educational impact and preparing students and professionals for success in an increasingly interconnected world.
Mission & Objectives
KMITL Language Center is committed to providing high-quality language development programs that empower students to excel as global citizens. We offer language training in English, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and other languages, ensuring students and professionals are equipped for international challenges. Additionally, the center provides language proficiency testing based on global standards, including the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), with assessments such as King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang's Test of English Proficiency (KMITL-TEP) and KMITL English Exit Exam.
Expanding its role as a globally recognized language testing center, KMITL Language Center also offers internationally accepted language certifications such as TOEIC, SAT, IELTS, and more.

KMITL Language Center provides practical language training designed to meet the evolving needs of society. Our courses emphasize real-world applications for personal and professional development, incorporating hands-on learning, including translation and language application skills.
In our commitment to lifelong learning, we provide language training opportunities for upskilling, reskilling, and multi-skilling to students, faculty, staff, and the public. These courses are offered through both on-campus and online platforms, ensuring equal access to language development.
Our Services Include:
★ English Proficiency Training and Assessment: We offer English proficiency training courses and assessments aligned with the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Our in-house exams include KMITL-TEP and KMITL English Exit Exam. We also provide preparation for internationally recognized English proficiency tests such as TOEIC, SAT, IELTS, and others. These programs are designed to prepare students, faculty, staff, and the public for international education and professional careers.
★ Comprehensive Language Training: We offer language courses for a diverse range of learners, including the public, private sector employees, students, international students, and staff. Our specialized Thai and other language courses promote integration and effective communication.
★ Specialized Third-Language Training: We provide instruction in a variety of third languages, including Japanese, Chinese, and Spanish. Courses are tailored to meet the specific needs and objectives of our learners.
★ Translation and Proofreading Services: We provide high-quality translation and proofreading services for both internal and external clients, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and professionalism in written communication.
